Rich had a way of always putting a smile on your face, he seemed to be always into something.
He had a soft spot in his heart for the village kids and was a great photographer, he had some
of his photos printed in his local newspaper back in California. I wish I was there when it happened,
Rich was up on the Rockpile with his squad, and he blows up a cave and this large boulder
comes rolling down the side of the mountain, cutting a path of a small house, it made one hell of a mark on the side, you could see if from base camp. But he got into more trouble trying to keep that little spider monkey, the higher ups thought that if it bit someone, they would have to get a rabies shot. So he got rid of it.
